A Bicriteria Fish War Game with Asymmetric Environmental Concern

D.V. Kuzyutin, N.V. Smirnova, A.S. Veselkov
We consider spatial dynamic fishery management problem taking into account the resource migration process between an open-access fishing area and no-take marine protected area. The introduced extension of a standard single-criterion fish war game implies that each player aims to maximize simultaneously two performance criteria which present an economic benefit and an environmental conservation goal respectively. The paper studies a two-player game with asymmetric environmental concern of the players. Using dynamic programming method, we derive non-cooperative and cooperative solution in feedback stationary strategies for an infinite-horizon multistage bicriteria game with two asymmetric players. The numerical simulation is provided to study the solutions properties.
